Las profesoras y los profesores de nuestro Instituto de Geografía se destacan por sus investigaciones de punta, que abordan temas contingentes en áreas como el cambio climático y sustentabilidad.

Estos estudios, que con frecuencia se realizan también en colaboración con otras y otros investigadores internacionales, se publican en revistas científicas de nivel mundial y de primera categoría, que se sitúan dentro de los primeros cuartiles en niveles de impacto.
