The Institute of Geography UC invites young researchers to apply to the Postdoctoral Research Fellowship 2023

The Institute of Geography at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile invites young researchers, holding a PhD degree, to apply to the Postdoctoral Research Fellowship 2023, of the Chilean National Agency for Research and Development (ANID).

Our Institute is interested in sponsoring applications that involve research in the following subjects (and others related)

General information about the Fellowship

• The applicants must have obtained their PhD degree between January 1st 2019 and August 31st 2022 (range is extended for childbearing)

• Applicants can apply for 2-3 years fellowship

• The starting date of the fellowship is April 15, 2023
  
  
• The Fellowship will finance: Salary (around US$ 30,300 per year), Operational expenses and equipment (around US$ 5,650 per year) and settlement cost (for scientist residing abroad; around US$ 3,750 in a one time payment)
