PLISCOFF, PATRICIO
Profesor Asociado del Instituto de Geografía (Facultad de Historia, Geografía y Ciencia Política) y del Departamento de Ecología (Facultad de Ciencias Biológicas), Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Es geógrafo de la Universidad Católica de Chile y máster en ecología evolutiva de la Universidad de Chile. Doctor en Ciencias Biológicas de la Universidad de Lausanne, Suiza. Las líneas de investigación que desarrolla son la biogeografía, conservación biológica y ecología, centrando su trabajo en el análisis de los patrones de distribución espacial de la biodiversidad y en la definición de prioridades de conservación. En estas líneas de trabajo ha publicado diversos artículos científicos y realizados informes para el Gobierno de Chile y Organizaciones nacionales e internacionales de conservación.
