Clima y Dinámicas Socioambientales launch ORCID launchDescripción: Profesora Asistente del Instituto de Geografía UC, es geógrafa de la Universidad de Chile y Doctora en Ecología de la UC.
Su investigación se centra en comprender la influencia del clima y las actividades humanas, pasadas y presentes en los sistemas lacustres. Tiene especial interés en el monitoreo de los lagos, al ser sensores de cambio global, estudia los impactos históricos y actuales que quedan registrados en las secuencias sedimentarias lacustres mediante un análisis multiproxi. Ha contribuido al entendimiento del efecto de la megasequía y de los cambios de uso de suelo, aportando evidencia clave sobre la resiliencia y la vulnerabilidad de las cuencas frente a presiones ambientales y humanas.
