I hold a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Cincinnati, United States, a Master of Science degree (mention in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology) from Universidad de Chile, and an undergraduate degree in Geography from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. My interests include paleoclimatology, glacial geomorphology, Quaternary geochronology, and climate/glacial modelling.
Currently, my research focuses on the paleoclimatic reconstructions of southern South America, through the study of glacial fluctuations since the Last Glacial Maximum to the present.
